Imagine that we have parcel dimension of 18" x 18" x 24". What could be the volume unit in cu ft?

12 inches = 1 foot (plural: feet)

inches
Length: 18"
Width: 18"
Height: 24"

then;

feet
Length: 18/12 = 1.5ft
Width: 18/12 = 1.5 ft
Height: 24/12 = 2 ft

In cu ft, it is

= 1.5 ft * 1.5 ft * 2ft
= 4.5 cu ft
